GREENPOINT TOWNHOUSE
Having endured various piecemeal renovations over the past several decades, this 1800’s townhouse was full of potential and in desperate need of a cohesive design strategy. With the addition of several built-ins, the home’s great room went from a mismatched empty shell to a functional and balanced interior. A moody wall color with soft layered neutrals compliment the original pine floor boards, while contemporary furnishings play off of original architectural elements, like the dark wood banister and wood burning fireplace. The addition of moldings throughout pays subtle tribute to the building’s historic legacy.
