Station designed this mountainside new build to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings and take full advantage of the multi-acre property’s unending vistas. The weekend retreat had to function for high-energy family life, and also a sophisticated sanctuary for grown-up entertaining. Wrapped in cedar and large picture windows, the modern, streamlined exterior belies the warm and inviting interior that awaits. High ceilings, warm ash tones and concrete floors throughout provide an unfussy sense of calm while allowing the focal point to remain the stunning, year-round beauty of the surrounding mountain view.
